. “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55v11. It’s almost as if every word that God has spoken is actively at work as an agent of His divine will and purpose. God’s word performing His will for Him. Think of it like this, every word that God has spoken is loaded, charged, pregnant with divine power and authority. The ultimate demonstration of this is the word becoming flesh and living amongst us, a living breathing human man (John 1). However let’s not become so focused on that one aspect as to miss the bigger picture, God’s word is powerful because it has come from Him. That word loses none of it’s power or authority when it is echoed, repeated by believers who quote that word. That is why praying in line with God’s word and quoting scripture (reminding God of His word) is so affective. When we allow God’s word to reach into our thoughts and hearts it has a transformational affect. We begin to change as long as we don’t resist the influence of His word, we find our thoughts and actions becoming more like the very word’s we read in scripture. When we share the words of scripture, sharing them with others, proclaiming them in prophetic declarations in our prayer and intercession we release the power and potential of that word into the lives of others. This word, God’s word, is so powerful and it is so important that we do not underestimate the purposeful intention for which God has given it. Believe me when I say, “God’s word is a life changing, soul moving, world altering declaration of His divine will.
When God spoke creation into being as described in Genesis chapter 1 we get a glimpse of the true nature of divine authority. God's word works not only in the visible and the realm of human thought but even at the molecular level, nothing is beyond the reach of God's word and His purposes. Let's learn to have great confidence in this life giving, world changing soul saving word that enacts the will and power of the Kingdom of God.
