We are passionate about worshiping God, hearing His word and loving our community
WHO WE ARE
Hope is a modern Pentecostal church and part of the Apostolic Church UK.
We are an active community of believers running regular church activities, community programs and also carrying out short term missions at home and abroad. It is not uncommon to see team members serving in outreach events across the South Wales Valleys and border regions of England.
We encourage everyone who joins us to get involved in some way as part of our love for God and our community. Everything from making a cuppa to serving on our chaplaincy team, volunteering in one of our regular programs or activities is at the heart of what we do.
We are passionate about worship and expressing our devotion to God.
We love hearing the preaching and teaching of God's word (the Bible).
We are devoted to pray, because we believe in the power of prayer.
We are committed to our community, a church without walls.
We are here to help, our heart is for everyone to experience God in a real and life changing way.
Whether in person or online it's easy to connect with Hope.
You can find out more about our core beliefs in a video series with Charis & Jason in our video section . For more information on our doctrinal beliefs take a look at the national website for the Apostolic Church UK.
OUR HISTORY
There has been an expression of the Apostolic Church in the locality of Blaenau Gwent for over 100 years, serving the people in our community and sharing the good news message of hope. Beginning in August 1920 at Beaufort, Ebbw Vale before quickly spreading across the county, the Apostolic church has a rich history in the Monmouth-shire Valleys. Today we gather as Hope in Ebbw Vale and continue the love and service we have as believers for God and our community.
There is a book available from Amazon if you would like to know more about our rich Pentecostal History.
